Open House!

Parents,
I plan on opening the school next week  August 28th-30th (Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday) for families to come and check out the facility.  Even if you don't plan on enrolling right now you are more than welcome to come and look around.  I'm asking that you let me know what day and time you would like to come by so I can make sure I am around (and not on one of my many daily trips to the hardware store).
Feel free to email me when you would like to come at keeliajo@live.com or call me at 406 223 6922.  I am planning on staying later on Tuesday the 28th (until about 6:30pm) to accommodate any parents that can't come until the evenings. I encourage you to bring you children and they can play while you look around and ask any questions you may have.  I will also have all the enrollment papers for you to fill out.  Look forward to seeing all of you!
Keelia

About Me

My name is Keelia Isaly and I was born and raised in Livingston Montana.  For as long as I can remember I’ve had a passion for working with children.  I grew up babysitting for neighbors and family friends.  Throughout high school I nannied for a local family and looked after their three children.  I graduated a semester early from  high school in order to work with a local business, Learning Partners, and provided childcare for mothers working toward sobriety.  This was an eye opening experience for me and it heightened my urge to go into education.  In the fall of 2006 I began my college career at The University of Montana in Missoula and immediately began working toward my degree in Elementary Education.  I had to work throughout school so I applied to the preschool on campus, Learning and Belonging Preschool.  I was hired my first day of college classes and worked there throughout my college career.  The preschool was the model preschool for the School of Education.  It was the place that all education students were required to spend time observing and teaching during their first field experience in the program.  This was an incredible work experience and my inspiration for starting my own preschool.  After completing my student teaching experience in a 3rd grade classroom I moved back to Paradise Valley.  I began working at Arrowhead Elementary where I ran the after school program and worked as a substitute for grades K-8.  This was the perfect first job in the field because it allowed me to work with a wide array of age groups in a variety of different settings.  I was then recruited for a job in the special education department at Park High School.  I spent the 2011-2012 school year working as a high needs para-educator which was extremely trying and rewarding at the same time.  However, being in the high school setting really made me miss my little ones so I began trying to figure out my next career move.  Starting a preschool had been a dream of mine ever since working at Learning and Belonging Preschool.  I began looking at the early education opportunities around Livingston and realized that there was a need for a centrally located kindergarten readiness preschool.  I began talking to people around the community and was amazed by the response I received.  Just the thought of a new preschool in Livingston sparked an interest in parents that told me that this may be my next move.  I am very excited to be working in the community where I was raised and have the opportunity to give back.  I look forward to working with you and your children!
